Der Flügel hat die Ident.nr. *NO. 8592* und ist, laut Auskunft der Firma Bechstein, zwischen 1870 und 1875 gebaut worden.

Der Flügel ist vor ca. 20 Jahren in Eigenarbeit matt-weiß lackiert worden... die Farbe ist aber mittlerweile nachgeblichen. Ursprünglich war der Flügel schwarz glänzend. Aber er ist nur äußerlich verändert worden, die Mechanik und der seltene Gußeisenrahmen/ Gußplatte sind noch orginal!!!
Wir haben den Flügel mal schätzen lassen, und aufgrund seiner Seltenheit hat die Firma Bechstein ihn auf über 100.000,- geschätzt, da mit dieser speziellen Mechanik (die nur zwischen 1870 / 1875 gebaut wurde) nur noch ca. 10-15 Flügel weltweit existieren. Das ist jetzt aber auch schon einige Jahre her... und der Flügel ist leider äußerlich nicht im allerbesten Zustand. Wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann ist die Lackierung stellenweise nicht die Beste. Außerdem ist er ungestimmt und die Hämmer müssen neu justiert werden. Der Notenhalter ist noch orginal vorhanden, aber nicht befestigt. Die Tastatur wurde 1990 neu belegt...
Der Flügel hat aufgrund seiner langen Lebensdauer schon einige Macken, aber die Grundsubstanz ist sehr gut... er stand immer trocken und wurde von Zeit zu Zeit gestimmt und natürlich auch bespielt.

The concert grands ident.nr.:NO 8592. It is 240 cm long and 143 cm wide. the concert grand was originally black colored, but was painted white about 20years ago. now the colour splatters, we have to admitt. but inside it is in original shape. the iron frame and the strings are complety o.k. the hammers have to be adjusted. the key-pads were renewed in 1990.
the concert grand is an oldtimer. it is not a new one, you can tell by looking at the pics. but it stayed in climated rooms, was tuned and played all the time except the last two years. we have talked to a piano-re-builder and he suggested the complete renovation, incl. the string-holders and a new colour on to round about 7.000.-- Euro.
the big bechstein concert grands of this age are really seldom. there might be only about 15 left.
this is an beautifull oldtime concert grand when pianos had to have a sound to fill big concert halls.
